I often come across the cocker or cocker mix with the smelly funk. I know that smell anywhere because it's usually the main purpose for the grooming.
Yeast. Candida. Inflamed ears. Scratching constantly. Flaky.
Maybe you have tried every shampoo you could get your hands on, maybe you've had every allergy test the vet has recommended. Dog still smells. Really bad.
I know, you bath the dog, he smells tolerable for a few mins, then he opens his big floppy lips and there goes the hot death stench.
Well good news! New research tells us that yeast can be cured with probiotics. The amount of humans that unknowingly suffer from Candida is huge! Our pets suffer from different degrees of the infection.
It's not just present in the skin and the smell. It goes through the dog's body, effecting the way the dog feels. This can be frustrating as some vets are not looking for a full body yeast infection.
I suggest reading more into this topic, not only for your dog, but possibly yourself or someone you know.

Welcome to my Blog!
As a employed person of the pet industry ( dog groomer), I am please to annouce that I will be starting this blog to not only bring informative information to pet owners, but also bring a voice to the pets.
I believe my over 25yrs experience with animals has left me with the ability to communicate their needs and help bridge the gap between animals and people.
The relationship between you and your pet is important. The proper care for your pet is important. I hope with my coming posts, I can give pet owners a chance to improve on areas and learn new techniques. I will also be here to answer any questions you might have regarding pet care- or grooming. I have been a dog groomer for the last 9 years.
